Brazil vs. Iran

Brazil vs. Iran

Despite the controversies that it goes through, Brazil’s confidence to secure the World Cup Beach Soccer trophy, never wanes.

On the other hand, Iran creates a loud buzz after beating Asian champs, Japan to qualify in the competition. But despite their stellar performance, Brazil, a team that is used to winning, refuses to wave the white flag in an easy breezy manner.

Brazil
Brazil (anticipates) another major beach soccer tittle as the club enters into the awaited FIFA Beach Soccer tournament.

The number of Beach Soccer trophies that Brazil holds readily explain why they are the heavy favorites of the upcoming competition. To date, the team has already clinched 13 major victories. However, Russia ended their winning spell in 2011.

The defeat resulted to the appointment of Junior Negão as head coach. The team’s new head honcho is a recognized legend of the sport. His experience is expected to help the club recover from the disappointing loss.

Iran
From the stadium to the sand, Iran continues to be one of the most intimidating beach soccer forces worldwide.

Just recently, the team turned the odds into their favor when they thrashed Asian beach soccer champion, Japan to secure their World Cup berth in Papeete. Peyman Hosseini, the team’s goalkeeper and also the hero of the match, denied Japan in a seemingly never-ending penalty shoot-out that will determine the fate of both clubs.
Except in 2009, the team has been a frequent participant of the celebrated event. Unfortunately, Team Melli cannot seem to get past of Round 1. Now that they are given another chance to advance further in the tournament, expect the team to put more pressure in the pitch as they come closer to their dream of securing the coveted Beach Soccer silverware.

The verdict: Brazil defeats Iran by 2 goals
Although trapped in management and coaching issues, Brazil remains a heavy favorite not only by supporters, but also, by World Cup betting odds.

The number of championship titles that they earned cannot be easily dismissed. The team is used to winning and this should keep Iran up on their toes.

Indeed, Team Melli is slowly creating a name in the beach soccer scene, but perhaps, this is still, not enough to survive Brazil’s beating.

Other than considering Brazil’s records, Iran must also keep its eye to Bruno Xavier, who just scored 13 goals in the South American qualifiers. To date, Brazil has already scored 41 goals and Team Melli, should they want to break their round 1 spell, must pump up their defence in order to advance.
