Bayern Munchen Continues Dominance In Club World Cup

Recognized as Germany’s top football club, Bayern Munchen promise to bring a dose of German football prowess on the pitch, thus adding more excitement to online sports betting.

Claiming the coveted UEFA silverware

The Bavarian’s claim for fame went through blood and fire. Round 16 proved to be an uphill task as they need to eliminate other football powerhouses such as Juventus and Arsenal. The Gunners almost gave them an upset. However, their aggregate scores are more than enough to prevent the Premier League representative from advancing into the latter stage of the competition.

But the next phase of the tournament proved to be an even harder mission. The club needed to outclass the mighty Barcelona, which has been one of the familiar faces in the tournament’s final. Nevertheless, the resilience of Jupp Heynckes’ squad is stronger and more powerful than that of the Catalan giant.

Bayern then proceeded to meeting its domestic league rival, Borussia Dortmund during the final and at Wembley, the club created history with Mario Mandzukic taking the lead and Arjen Robben, sealing the Borussian’s coffin.

Germany’s first treble

As if the Champions League trophy was not enough, Bayern also clinched the silverware in the DFB Pokal and in Bundesliga, thus making them the first club to secure a treble.

The future

Heynckes retired after the treble, but the Bavarians continue to dominate the international and domestic league with the guidance of the genius Pep Guardiola. Guardiola propelled Barcelona into victory and apparently, Bayern heads towards the same direction or even better. Currently, the club remains undefeated in all of its Champion League matches for this season. The Bavarians also lead its group and immediately followed by rivals, Manchester City.
