Nigeria and Bosnia-Herzegovina will be quite clueless of how their tourney will turn out. The sides have never met in any fixture in the past and this World Cup fixture will serve as their gauge and benchmark for future battles.

It was largely disappointing for Nigeria to end their match against Iran in a goalless draw. The idle result involved so much misses but the defense was nevertheless commendable. They managed to dominate possession but lost track of where and when to place the ball behind the net. Nigeria earned a free kick and a corner around half-hour but none of the chances were aptly converted. Just before the first half ended, they fired several shots but like in the earlier parts of the fixture, they scored zero goals.

Of the finalists in the World Cup, Bosnia-Herzegovina are the least experienced yet they managed to offer a few scares to title favorites Argentina. An own goal by Kolasinac in the 3rd minute provided Albiceleste an early lead which was then doubled by Messi five minutes past the hour mark. Bosnia were a thrilling pack to pose threat against their rivals and with less pressure to shoulder, they looked more relaxed than their South American opponents. Near the battle’s conclusion, Bosnia brought on a couple of attackers in an attempt to obtain a late goal. The efforts paid off and Vedad Ibisevic converted an opportunity in the match’s dying minutes to finish 2-1. They ended up as the underdogs but they did not let Argentina slip away with the win without them sweating.

World Cup betting tip: Nigeria will earn a second consecutive draw and share the points with Bosnia-Herzegovina.
