FIFA World Cup Betting Tips, CONCACAF Qualifiers

Costa Rica

Costa Rica did not only get its piece of revenge when it trampled USA with a 3-1 victory. The team also secured their participation in the 2014 World Cup tournament.

The Costa Rica-USA rivalry made a resounding buzz after the so-called blizzard match. Amidst the snow-covered encounter, USA clinched the victory. However, Costa Rica countered the said win when USA paid them a visit.

Their most recent match, which was Jamaica ended in a draw. However, USA’s victory against Mexico and the draw between Honduras and Panama made them the group’s runner-up and therefore, sealed their automatic spot for Brazil.

Despite their success, they still need to face Honduras and Mexico. The result of the said match barely matters to them as these are more of a formality since they are already qualified.

Jamaica

Jamaica has never won any of the matches that they have played in the qualifier. This resulted to their impending elimination in the qualifier.

Out of the 8 matches that they played, half of them ended in defeat while the other half witnessed a draw.

Their next encounter will be against USA and Honduras. Technically speaking, this has no bearing in the qualifiers. But then again, participating into such an exercise is not a bad idea.

Panama

Panama’s next two matches (USA and Mexico) will decide their fate into the World Cup. However, they will most likely go for the playoffs. Honduras, which is set to face Jamaica and Costa Rica is vying for the 3rd automatic spot for Brazil. Since Costa Rica simply plays for formality’s sake and Jamaica has nothing to aspire for, there is a high possibility for them to be the third CONCACAF team to qualify.

As for Panama, losing a single match can technically end their campaign for the awaited tournament.
